How it works
Joining Open Lab as a participant gives you access to a variety of studies created by different researchers. There are many reasons why you might be interested in online studies: reward, particular interest in the topic, learning more about research processes, or simply curiosity.
How participants might be rewarded depends on the particular study. Researchers often promote their studies and offer monetary rewards such as payments or participation in lotteries. If you are a university student, you may even be able to earn credits from a researcher based there. You may also be interested in receiving feedback and learning more about yourself.
Simple, convenient authorization
- Once registered, you do not need to register for each separate study.
- Different types of authorization: a participation code, an email address and password, or access via Facebook, Google, and Github.
Compliance with data protection guidelines
- According to the law on personal data, you can see what kind of data about you is available to the researcher.
- You can also ask the researcher to delete your data if you wish.
